Tree Plantation Project done together with TECO (Tanzania Environment & Conservation Organization – A Government Undertaking) on 1st of December, 2011 to commemorate 50 Years of Independence for The United Republic of Tanzania. The venue was at the premises of Butimba Central Prison – Mwanza.Lions Club of Mwanza – Victoria donated 1000 Tree saplings. In recognition of our contribution of 1000 tree saplings we were given participation certificate by TECO. According to the Club President Lion Sameer Shah, "Lions Club of Mwanza – Victoria is fully committed with TECO in all their future projects of betterment & conservation of environment."
R.C.Lion Jashmina Mistry was present to grace the occasion. Along with other sister clubs some Private organization were also present.
