Lions club of Dar es Salaam, Mzizima organised a Peace Poster Contest with the able expertise of the Club Convenor Lion Seifi Nagri. The Mzizima Lions brought together 8 schools and spent time with their teachers to advise them on the
Contest regulations and above all the robust theme of "Children Know Peace."
As rightfully pointed out by Lion Seifi, "it's the promotion of art in schools and spreading of peace that matters most." 1. Heritage Eng Medium Primary School

4. Kimwani Primary School Chanika
5. Dar Independent School
6. Academic International
7. Kibangu primary School
8. Usambara Primary School
The students form the above schools contested on 22nd of September 2011 at Academic International School. Club members witnessed the occasion.
The judges appointed to qualify presentation and oversee winners were Mr. Ernest Mtaya and Mr. Frank Yutaro, both professional art teachers.
The presentation took place at Alliance Francaise on 8th October. 12 Lions from Mzizima participated and awarded the winners with various prizes. All participants were also awarded with a token prize.
Mzizima Lions spent a total of 36 hours during the event and spent 1,000,000 TShs.
