Ms. Mumtaz and her fellow friends joined Lions Club fraternity on Sunday the 9th of October 2011 at Muhimbili Hospital to carry out service for the needy, She said that they were looking forward to become a fully fledged LIONS CLUB OF DAR ES SALAAM INNOVATIONS.
They ardently distributed clothes and sweets, at the Children's Ward, to about 240 children who were suffering from various illness including severe burns. Their contribution to the activity amounted to 750,000TShs.
They also participated in putting together various packets of gifts that were brought by fraternity Lions. Their gesture and diligence has indeed created a remarkable memory for the services rendered.
The Lions are proud of you all and welcome you to join the den at the very earliest.
