Dear Lion Leaders,

 

Wishing you A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012.  

 

We have crossed  half way of the current Lionistic year, We still have six months more to achieve the goals set for the year. I once again emphasis on following the District Governor's Handbook; this will ensure that club performances are in the right track. 

• Membership growth is an area which needs to be look upon at all times in order to achieve the District target of 1250 members. 
• The other area which needs priority is TREE PLANTING activities which is Lions International President's goal.

I further wish to remind the clubs for the month of January 2012 as follows:

 

1)  Organize an activity to mark the Birth day of Lions founder Melvin Jones  - 13 Jan

2)  Emphasize to conduct THE WORLD PEACE DAY on the 24th January 2012

3)  Appoint Chairperson of the Nomination & Election Committee

4)  Pay/settle (if pending)  the District and International dues.

 

The District Governor Lion Satish Sharma will be on his official visit to the clubs in Region A from 22nd to 29th January, clubs are required to plan the activities for the day as well as for the joint meeting with the Governor.
