"Sight First has been one of our greatest activity in the District, and I would like to commend the great work done by District Convenor Lion Shanti Shah and District Chairperson Lion Bosco Ntangaare," said DG Lion Satish Sharma during the 3rd Cabinet Meeting in Entebbe.
The DG further reported that the responsible Lions had enabled success of Kigoma Satellite Eye Unit and Kayunga Eye Hospital despite the fact that there had been no cataract reimbursement for the past few years.
"I am proud to advise that the District had managed to carry out 1000 cataract surgeries and 600 alone were from Mzizima Club," mentioned Lion Satish.
Lion Shanti Shah on personal note said that he would carry on with this mission so as to score more success.........indeed the Lions of 411B will have to remain "KNIGHTS OF THE BLIND".
