CONSOLE THE SICK AND ELDERLY ADVISES PWANI CLUB LIONS

Pwani Club members paid a visit to see Lion Shamim's mother who had fallen and injured her forehead and left arm. The incident took place at the time when lion Shamim was attending 9th MD 411B Convention in Entebbe. The visit took place on 20th May 2012.
The members wished her mother a speedy recovery and comforted her with a feeling that all Lions were there to give her a supporting arm.

"One club I know lost a member in a most tragic way. One of its senior members became very ill and could not attend meetings for more than six months. When he recovered, one of his first acts was to deliver a letter of resignation to his club president. During his lengthy illness, not one member of his club had visited him or inquired about his health," advised International president Lion Wing Kun Tam.
