MEGA DISTRIBUTION OF STATIONERY TO SCHOOLS TAKES OFF TO MARK THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF TANZANIA’S INDEPENDENCE BY MZIZIMA CLUB

Lions club of Dar es Salaam MZIZIMA have planned to distribute stationery to various schools in Dar es Salaam as part of their contribution to celebrate 50th Independence Anniversary. According to Lion Mustafa, the programme is to benefit approximately 10,000 pupils/students. The total cost of the activity is TShs 17ml that will comprise as follows:

1.     60000 Pcs Exercise Books
2.     40000 Pcs  Ball Pens
3.     20000 Pcs Pencils
4.     10000 Pcs Colour Pencils
5.     10000 Pcs Sharpeners
6.     10000 Pcs Erasers
7.     10000 Pcs Foot Rulers

On 24th November, they commenced the exercise at SHULE YA MSINGI HEKIMA in Buguruni, Ilala District. The Club distributed TShs 3.4ml worth stationery to 2,000 students each as hereunder:
6 Pcs   Exercise Books; 4 Pcs  Ball Pens; 2 Pcs   Pencils; 1 Pc   Sharpener; 1 Pc   Erasers and 1 Pc Foot Ruler.

Following Lions were present in this activity:  Lion Pratish Kakad; Lion Shanti Shah; Lion Nitin Desai; Lion Murtaza Bodalbhai; Lion Talib Yusufali and Lion C.T Shah (Deepa)
