MEMBERSHIP IN UGANDA TO BE BOOSTED BY FALL OF 2011

MEMBERSHIP MEETING HELD ON MONDAY, 21^ST NOVEMBER 2011 AT KAMPALA CLUB.

Dear Fellow Lion Leaders,

Greetings, at this meeting it was resolved and agreed that:

1.     Lion Shem Bageine wil check on his Calendar and plan to visit Membership and Extension targeted areas in Uganda to get New Clubs and/or open the clubs which were closed in the previous Lionistic Years.

2.     It was established that following clubs can be brought back – Busia, Mbale, Bugiri, Koboko, Kumi and Mukono; MCC, 1^ST VDG and PDG Polly to visit. It is my humble request that after the Festive Season this exercise should immediately start.

By copy of this email I remind our 1^st VDG Lion Kiwanuka that Fort Portal, Bushenyi and Yumbe clubs needs urgent attention for further help. Please join me into strengthening these clubs.

In addition to the above listed I have formed a Team of following Lion Members from different areas to assist us in this task:

12.   Vensar Baryomu  - ZC

Before the 2^nd Cabinet Meeting to be held in Mwanza on Saturday, 18^th February 2012 we must be able to report positive achievements on membership.
