Dear Lions and friends,
Please be informed that the coming Sunday on April 1st after fooling all the rest of the world(April fools day),let us not fool ourselves and participate in another activity of food distribution to the needy at the Ocean rd hospital of a similar nature to all the previous activities.
It would be wonderful to see members who had not participated earlier.
On behalf of Mzizima I take this opportunity to also invite Lion leaders and members of other clubs if time permits, since the activity takes only 2 hours commencing from 11.30 to 1.30 lunch time.

ReplyDeleteOnce again Lions from Mzizima distributed food to the patients of Ocean rd, hospital
in Dar. 9 members turned up with a helping hand from other family members of the Lions today.
We were also accompanied by Lion Hamisi Runje who alongwith his two sons
worked tirelessly in distributing the deliciously prepared meal to the patients.
however another additional activity cropped up when we encontered a situation where a critically ill patient from
Kilombero who had no family nearby to assist him required some kidney tests and had no means to conduct it.
Immediately Lions from Mzizima decided to assist him to get the tests done .
Once again it was decided to have another food distribution activity on the Easter Friday to lift the spirits
of the patients who are in need of such activities
