Pwani Lions carried out 2 activities at Vikawe Primary School: donation of school books and food items on 25th January 2012 to commemorate DG Satish Sharma Visit.

Activity Brief: Pwani Lions carried out this activity at Vikawe Primary School, 43km from Dar. 200 educational books were donated. Food items like juice, water, cakes and bread were distributed to all in attendance.
President Lion Sara thanked the school management for the warm reception and cooperation. The Headmaster Mr. Orest Chausi thanked Lions for the donation. District Governor Lion Satish Sharma in his address said he was pleased to come to all the way to participate. He said the children of today need to become good leaders of tomorrow and should be looked after very well. He told the teachers to take advantage of such assistance from Lions in order to ensure sustainable development.
