The Cabinet Meeting took place in Mwanza on 18th February 2012. 48 participants from Mwanza the hosting city, Dar-es-Salaam, Arusha, Moshi and Uganda attended the entire proceedings and deliberations. In his welcome address, DG Lion Satish Sharma expressed his dismay over the dwindling membership and closing of clubs in the district. DG further mentioned that clubs need to emphasise on membership retention and look into family membership. Commencing ladies clubs like Mwanza Valentine would be an ideal way forward.
