Times are hard and knocking us flat,
Life has become much aggressive,
And it has become dearer,
The clock seems much faster,
We dig deeper into our Pockets,
We curb our expenditure,
Yet the inflation is much felt,
When we get our month end Salary Pay,
We realize our helplessness,
And find that we have been spending from our Savings,
Before long there is no balance left,
And we start the new month with an Advance,
But my Friends, swim along with the Times,
And like the Duck above, float and float,
Do not let yourself be drowned,
Under the strains of employment,
Just float with the tide of our Times!
