Pwani Lions carried out Tree Planting activity Medina Orphanage Plot in Vikawe on 25th January 2012 to commemorate DG Satish Sharma Visit.

The Lions of Pwani carried out Tree Planting Activity at Vikawe on 25th January 2012. The location was at the Al-Medina Orphanage, 43km from Dar.
Convenor Lion Mushtaq Shah, who is also the District Chairperson for Environment and tree planting elatedly undertook the activity. Ten shade trees were planted. The activity was also attended by 2 Zone Chairpersons Lion Zahira and Babul and Guests.
DG Lion Satish Sharma, who planted a tree, was told that the 3 acre plot development was still in planning stages and it was expected to plant about 100 more shade trees at its borders and over 100 fruit trees within its farming area by May 2012.
