An Orientation Session for 6 new members of Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Amani was held at Red Onion Restaurant, Dar es Salaam at 9pm on Wednesday the 27th of July 2011 under Presiding Chairperson Lion Shenaz Noray. Zone Chairperson Lion Zahira Patwa briefed members regarding Lionism.
Lion Abdul Hai conducted the orientation by virtue of being Secretary of the club. All areas like historical background of Lionism, administration of Lions clubs International, District 411B, Club Administration were covered albeit briefly. Of the 6 potential members, two are ladies.Amani Club is now planning to induct the members at Dar es Salaam fraternity level to portray a better and impressive achievement.
Potential Members are: Syed Mohamed Refai; Leslie M. Mullican; Dave Mullican; Malik Azhar Abas; Rakesh Gulabhai Lad; Prasad V.S.V Neelam.
