The District Governor has nominated me District Convenor, for the World Service and U.N. Day. In this respect I write to solicit your full support for our proposed activities to celebrate 8th October - Lions World Service Day.

- A big joint activity comprising all the Clubs in Dar es Salaam to be organised on Sunday 9th October 2011 from 9:00 am.
- A humanitarian activity to provide soft drinks, water, biscuits, sweets, fruits etc at the Muhimbili National Hospital.
- All the Club members will gather at a particular place and everything will be distributed to various wards by Lion members only.
- Appropriate banners will be made and displayed at different places within Muhimbili Hospital.
- Arrangements to cover this activity in the media has been made. This is Dar es Salaam Lions fraternity activity, family members and friends are welcome.

A meeting has been called on Sunday, 2nd October, 2011 at 10.30 am at Patel grounds to discuss and plan in organizing a grand activity for 8th Oct World World Service Day . This is to the further mail previously sent by the District Convenor Lion Talib Yusufali.
The meeting will have the presence of District convenor Lion Talib Yusufali. District Chairperson Lion Natubhai Bhardvaj , Zone Chairperson Lion Shofiudin Babul, Zone Chairperson Lion Zahira Patwa and myself. presence of the above club officers is highly important and required.

Re: 8th Oct Lions World Service Day
It gives me a great privilege to inform you that the clubs in the fraternity under zone 1 & 2 , Region A will be organizing a grand event / activity jointly to join the Lions around the world to celebrate 8 th Oct Lions World Service Day on Sunday, 9th October, 2011 at Muhimbili National Hospital.
During the event food distribution, milk, juices and fresh fruits will be distributed to the patients at the hospital. The activity is scheduled to start at 9.30 am whereby members from all the clubs in the region will jointly participate in this activity with unity and fellowship.
On behalf of the clubs in region A , District Convenor Lion Talib Yusufali and District Chairperson Lion Natu Bhardvaj , i take this privilege of inviting you and your spouse for gracing the event. Your presence will be a mark of honor and support , which is highly important and required for encouraging the clubs.

Dear Club Leaders,
I wish to appreaciate you with highest lionistic gratitude for attending the meeting held on Sunday , 2nd Oct, 2011 . The unity seen among the clubs in Region A , would be an example for all the regions in District 411b in fulfilling the Distict and Lions International goals during this lionistic year. i wish to thank the clubs in zone 1 & 2 in accepting the proposal by District convenor and Chairperson for 8th Oct Lion World Service Day for holding and organizing a joint fraternity activity on Sunday, 9th October 2011 at Muhimbili National Hospital.
The following was resolved in the meeting held , please treat this as your club guidelines for the activity.
1) Clubs will handover the pledged amount to Zc Lion Zahira Patwa by Tuesday, 4th Oct, 2011.
2) District chairperson Lion Natu Bhadwaj will head the committee comprising of the club convenors for 8th Oct Service Day.in buying and secring the items and prepare the prog for the day
3) District Convnor Lion Talib Yusufuali will be the overseer for the activity.
4) Club secretary to issue circular to their club members for their participation with their families.
5) The activity will be held at Muhimibili Hospital at 9.30 am. on Sun 9th Oct, 2011 and will be undertaken jointly by all the clubs in the fraternity. a detailed program for the day
will be sent to clubs by friday, 7th Oct, 2011.
6) Any club member wishing to contribute toward this noble cause will be acceptable with high gratitudes.
I once again wish to thank you all for your support and this unity will make the event the most memorable one with full of fellowship and above all attract more new members to LIONISM.
