Once again i wish to congratulate for yet another finest activity undertaken by your club . Raising sh 16.5 m through a charity walk was a well done job by the convenors , who surely have worked tirelessly for a long period of time to have such a success which cannot be left without any recognitions.
Fund raising activity is one of the goals mentioned in the district governor's handbook and above all one of the most important activity for club in the lionistic year. club has to raise funds through such activities to enable to have sufficient funds for the year to undertake activities to serve the less fortunates. A club president cannot fulfil his goals, district goals as well as Lions International goal without having enough funds , it is through this fund raising activity and your able able leadership , i am now confident that your club will be able to reach the required heights in terms of services as well as in fulfilling all the goals for the lionistic year.
It was a privilege for me to witness the entire activity and i look forward for more such invitations from your fine club.

The Charity Walk in collaboration with Shree Hindu Mahila Mandal this morning was graced by the Deputy Mayor of Dar es Salaam. The wonderful event was enjoyed by all members who participated. Even the Mayor pointed out his utmost satisfaction in his address as well as in the press interview thereafter.
On my and clubs behalf, I wish to thank you both and your entire team - Salim, Rizwan, Hussein, Larry and Rafiq for the hard work and coordination that resulted into the successful event.
I also thank all my members and friends who collected funds and then walked the distance for the noble cause. Collection of 16.5ml Tshs will go a long way to ensure that the needs of the dis-advantaged are fulfilled. I know that Pwani members can count on each other as always but it will rightful to mention that convenorship matters.
I also satisfied that one of our goals for LY 2011/12 has been fulfilled.
